Humanitarian Aid
Our Humanitarian Aid Program enables us to deliver critical supplies directly to those most in need, ensuring they can survive during the ongoing war. This program represents a lifeline for Ukrainians, helping communities sustain themselves in the face of extreme adversity.
Generators Delivered to Uman
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the people of Davis, generators were provided to our sister city, Uman. Former Davis Mayor Brett Lee personally visited Uman to confirm the delivery of these essential supplies, ensuring they reached those in need.
This is an ongoing fundraiser, with plans for future rounds of generator deliveries to Uman and other areas in Ukraine affected by the war. We are committed to continuing support as long as the need persists.
Support for Lviv's School for Blind Children
A generator was delivered to a school for blind children in Lviv, allowing the school to continue its operations despite the unstable conditions. This critical support was made possible by donations from the people of Davis, providing vital help to disabled children in a vulnerable situation. We will continue to support them in any way we can and in any form they need as the challenges persist.
Scholarships for Ukrainian Students
Through the joint efforts of the Davis Sunrise, Davis Noon, and Davis Sunset Rotary Clubs, together with support from the people of Davis, 28 students at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University received scholarships. This contribution not only provides much-needed financial assistance but also helps foster a brighter future for Ukraine's youth. We hope to continue this initiative and provide another round of scholarships in the future to support even more deserving students.
